Some time ago, Rob Williams kindly sent me over a Capt Boomerang script (since I figured I should start tweaking my portfolio just in case someone eventually wants me to draw something other than tanks).
Pencilled the first three pages, inked it a little then got caught up in other things.
I dusted it off and inked it up though, cus, what’s a portfolio without something with a superhero in it (answer: not much different to this, because like almost anything I enjoy it’s got goofy characters more than anything).
Anyway IT WOULD BE FUN TO WORK WITH ROB WITH STUFF LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME, PLEASE. AND THANK YOU.
Pencilled as normal but inked with a large brush which had split into three or four clumps, then white ink was sprinkled on using brush splatter technique.
The Winner is…
Crest: Dante, this is a terrible mistake, you are compromising your cover and are leaving yourself terribly exposed!
Dante: Not yet I’m not.
Email me your address and I’ll send it off to you tomorrow (or, more likely, Monday). Thanks to everyone that entered (actually, knowing how smutty you all are that’s not the best turn of phrase….) maybe I’ll do it again next year.

Artwork from the unpublished (and likely to remain unpublished) ‘Seven’ from Warhammer, easily some of my best work ever.
